Well, tomorrow is March 1st. This is a busy month for us. Miles and both our sons have birthdays, both the boys got married in march as well as Miles dad. Sure wish we could spend more time with the family. But then we have to remember that we are not the ones that moved away from God’s country! 
We had a great planning meeting on Saturday the 26th and now have a great team behind us. They each took a day to be responsible for praying with and for us. Not that all of you aren’t praying for us, but it gives us an extra layer of accountability and encouragement!
We are also encouraged by the increase in our financial support! We are now at 33% of our one time expenses, and 18% of our monthly expenses. God is good all the time.

We are looking for donations to our upcoming Banquet / auction. It will be on June 11th at Mt. view Christian Church. Do you have a vacation cabin, a service, an unused item that someone else might bid on? Contact us to have it picked up. Our friend Judy Ebert is handling all the items until the auction. What a great help that is!

Slow Down!

Well, God has a certain way to make sure that we slow down and not burn out! I spent Friday night the 18th in the hospital under observation. We had a garage sale all day and after falling asleep on the couch before 9PM we decided to head off for bed. I stood up and got the MOST EXCRUCIATING! pain I have ever had as a cramp in my upper thigh. I sat down feeling light headed and nauseated. That is the last I knew for several minutes while Miles tried to rouse me. A friend called (appointed by the Lord) and told him to call 911. The phone roused me and by the time he hung up I said no, don't call so he just took me to the hospital. I felt fine by then and felt silly. I got overridden. They ran several tests and insisted that I stay overnight for observation. They monitored my heart rate all night. Praise God all is well! What caused it you ask? Only God knows. On my feet all day in the cold! Not as much water as I usually drink. Stress. The extreme pain of the cramp. Doc says the body can shut down in response to extreme pain. Pick one! Mean time, God is sending support! Our planning meeting is this Saturday. I can't wait to see what God has planned for us. Here is a Thermometer showing our one time needs support so far. We have a long way to go building our support but are confident in God's provision. Our monthly support is at only 5%. This is where we need to concentrate right now. We are praying for God's timing in when we leave, and have a target of this August. Our monthly support needs to come in before visas can be applied for, airline tickets purchased, and many more little things. We know that God has laid support for Him through us on the right people. Are you one of them?

We had a great weekend in Roseburg over the Valentines Day weekend.
We expected to share with the church of some friends for 10 minutes and after meeting us the pastor gave us the entire time to share about out what God is going to have us do in Indonesia.

There was a baptism after both services and the Holy Spirit was moving!
We came away filled, refreshed, and ready to tackle all that God has in store for us.

Now we just need to get through our first Garage Sale!

First Assignment

Our most exciting news is that our fifth grand child was born on Tuesday Feb 1 @ 1:08AM. Her name is Ainsley Jade McClure and she weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 18.5 inches long.

Mother Allyl and Father Josh are doing well! :)

Well we are just beginning our first assignment with MAF. It is called Ministry Partnership.

We spoke at our first church last Saturday the 29th of January. They had a local mission fair where many people from the area showcased their ministry to local folks in need. We are invited back to speak during the service on April 3rd.

We will be sharing God's mission in Roseburg this coming weekend the 11-13. We will speak during both services.

Please join us in prayer that we will share what God wants us to share.

We will continue to meet with family and friends to share this vision. All of this and work too! God is good.

We are very excited about our Visionary planning meeting / Breakfast on Feb 26 @9:00.
at Heidis 1230 Northeast Cleveland Avenue, Gresham
Meeting will start @ 10:00.

This is where more plans will be made and we will see what God in store for us.

Soon we will kick off the plant sale fundraiser. See attached image (if I did it right) for the order form if you want one. Plants must be paid for by March 23rd, then picked up at Mt. View Christian Church between noon and 4PM on April 16th.
